ID Card Design

Press-ready artwork, checked before it costs you a print run.

ID Card Design is where a lot of good brands quietly lose money. The design looks fine on a laptop, then the print run comes back with muddy colour, a logo sitting too close to the trim, and eight thousand copies nobody wants to hand out. We build ID card design the other way round — press specification first, artwork second.

Working with us looks like this: a short brief, a written direction, two initial concepts, then rounds of refinement on the one you pick. You end up with print-ready files, an RGB or screen version for digital use, and open source files for future edits.

What you get

  • Copy layout and typesetting from your supplied content
  • Pre-press check before release so the printer does not send it back
  • Two initial design directions, then unlimited refinement on the one you choose
  • Print-ready PDF with bleed, crop marks and correct CMYK values
  • Editable source files (Illustrator / InDesign / Photoshop) handed over to you

Questions we get asked

Most ID card design projects run one to two weeks from approved brief to final artwork, depending on how many pages or SKUs are involved and how quickly feedback comes back. Urgent timelines can usually be accommodated — tell us the deadline up front.

Yes. Editable source files are handed over at the end of the project. You are free to reprint, adapt or take them to another studio without asking us.

We design; we do not run a press. What we do is recommend stock, finish and quantity, and co-ordinate directly with your printer so nothing gets lost in translation between design and production.
