About the studio

We design things that have a job to do.

Grafix Era is a multi-disciplinary design studio. A label has to sell from a shelf. A deck has to survive a sceptical investor. A kitchen has to work at 7am on a weekday. We design for those moments rather than for a portfolio shot.

How we got here

One studio instead of four vendors.

Grafix Era started with print — packaging, catalogues, company profiles, the work that gets judged in someone's hands. That discipline teaches you things a screen never will: that a millimetre matters, that a colour behaves differently on uncoated stock, and that there is no undo once the plates are made.

Clients kept asking for the next thing. The packaging needed ad creatives. The brand needed a website interface. The product needed a video. The showroom needed an interior. Rather than send people elsewhere and watch the brand drift, we built those capabilities in — branding and digital design, UI/UX, video and AI-assisted production, and interior design.

Today that adds up to five disciplines and a long list of services under one roof. The advantage is not the list. It is that the person designing your label has spoken to the person designing your feed, and both are working from the same brand rules.

What we believe

Four positions we do not negotiate on.

Constraints come before concepts

Print specification, platform dimensions, developer capacity, site measurements, budget. We collect the real limits first, because a beautiful idea that cannot be produced is not a design, it is a mood board.

Clarity beats cleverness

If a viewer has to work out what a piece is saying, the piece has already failed. One message, one hierarchy, one obvious next action. Decoration goes last, and only if it survives the cut.

Files belong to the client

Editable sources are handed over at the end of every project. Holding files hostage is a business model we would rather not have. If you outgrow us, you should be able to leave cleanly.

Say the price and the date

Every project starts with a written scope, a fixed price and a delivery date. If the brief changes, we quote the change before doing it. No invoices that arrive as a surprise.

Working with us

What the first two weeks look like.

Day 0

You send a brief

Rough is fine. A photo of a competitor's packaging counts as a brief.

Day 1

We reply with questions

The ones that change the outcome — audience, production method, deadline, budget.

Day 2

Scope and price

A written scope with deliverables, revision rounds, a fixed price and a delivery date.

Day 5–10

First designs

Two directions to react to, with the reasoning written next to them.

Start with a conversation, not a contract.

Tell us what you are trying to make and what is in the way. If we are the wrong studio for it, we will say so.
